This weekend, the stars will align as Sons of Liberty Spirits Co. and Narragansett Beer celebrate the long-awaited release of Lovecraft Hop Flavored Whiskey. 

This small-batch, limited-edition whiskey was distilled from ‘Gansett’s I Am Providence Imperial Red Ale, originally released in February 2016. The long line of one-offs in the H.P. Lovecraft series pays homage to the famed Providence author for their bold flavors and other-worldly can art.

This isn’t SOL’s first whiskey collaboration. They’ve previously teamed up with Foolproof Brewing Company to create Foolproof Raincloud Hop Flavored Whiskey. (A personal favorite with some amazing flavor.)

Only 1,400 bottles were filled with this liquid gold, so be sure to get to the South Kingston tasting room as soon as the party kicks off. There will be plenty of whiskey and other crafted spirits, Lovecraft-themed cocktails and merchandise, and live music by James & the Giants. Plus, there will be pizza from Jeff’s Wood Fired Pizza and plenty of SOL and Narragansett beer will be flowing.

Party kicks off Friday, Dec. 1 from 5-10 p.m. at 1425 Kingston Rd., in South Kingstown.
