We’re smack dab in the middle of anniversary season on the South Shore.
Black Hat Brew Works recently celebrated their 2nd anniversary on Black Friday while Bog Iron Brewing will soon be celebrating their 5th anniversary with the very special release of Fif, a duodecuple dry-hopped INEIPA. In between these local heavyweights, we find Castle Island Brewing celebrating their own two years of operation in Norwood.
Castle Island is hosting an all-day extravaganza Saturday with the release of TWO, an imperial stout that’ll be available on draft and in cans. If it’s anything like last year’s ONE, I’m really looking forward to it. (I’ve actually still got a can of ONE in the cellar.)
But hey, why just release a beer and call it a day? Why not release three variants plus some barrel aged goodness?!
Here’s how the day breaks down:
11a: TWO will be released on draft and in cans
1p: Tapping TWO with Karma Coffee, to pair with Caked Boston
3p: Tapping TWO with Mexican Chocolate, Cinnamon, and Chiles, to pair with Los Jefes: Next Level Eats
5p: Tapping Barrel Aged ONE
7p: Tapping TWO with Vanilla
