Narragansett Beer is visiting every town in the Ocean State, and they’ve got a beer with your name on it.
The hometown brewery announced this week that it will be making a stop in each of Rhode Island’s 39 cities and towns throughout 2019 in celebration of the state’s bars and restaurants.
“For generations, Rhode Island’s bars and restaurants have acted as community centers where neighbors, regardless of their differences, get together over food and beer to talk about life,” the blog post said. “We go to our neighbors and our neighborhood bars to support each other, learn from one another, to console, celebrate, and share stories. They really are the lifeblood of both our community and our history.”

The journey will begin on Friday, Feb. 8, at Barrington’s Blue Water Grille. ‘Gansett will continue down the list, alphabetically, stopping at a bar or restaurant each week.
If you attend, you’ll receive a wooden nickel to redeem for a free pint. Early birds will also receive a free pint glass.
